Only eight feet deep on Cancun beaches, 400 stunning sculptures of the prestigious British artist Jason de Caires Taylor, in a ‘sui generis’ exhibition titled “The Quiet Evolution.”

In the year 2011, The Nautical Association of Cancun and Isla Mujeres together with the National Marine Park Authority in Mexico, will open this ambitious project that will be the largest underwater museum in the world,  with the purpose of attracting over 800 000 tourists a year making it one of the most demanded attractions in Cancun in a short time.

            It is best to travel and shop in groups, but Market 28 is very safe.  There are regular patrols by the local Cancun police and is therefore very safe, but just incase, make sure you know where to get help and chose a meeting place and time if you get separated from your group.   And should you chose to go alone, make sure that you tell your traveling party or the hotel front desk where you are going and when you will return.   Market 28 is quite large and crowded so be aware of your surroundings and always follow the basic safety steps.   If you are ever in doubt, find a policeman and seek help.
