Two years ago Paulina Rubio married Nicolas Vallejo “Colate” in Xcaret Park. Just days before the celebration of their wedding anniversary, the famous Mexican singer known as the “golden girl” renovated her vows once again in this holiday destination by being named yesterday “Tourism Ambassador” of the Mexican State of Quintana Roo.

The “golden girl” has become the first celebrity to start working on tourist promotion for the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, which hast just began welcoming tourist again after one of the most severe economical blows ever suffered in its history, as consequence of the influenza alert (swine flu) in Mexico.

Paulina Rubio received yesterday the appointment as “Ambassador of Tourism” in Quintana Roo from the state governor Félix González Canto, at Le Blanc Hotel in Cancun.

The ceremony began one hour after, which was carried out with a spectacular view to the Caribbean Sea. Paulina said that she and her family have married in Quintana Roo and wishes to have her children and grandchildren there as well.
